Kayak adventure around Great War Island

A kayak tour around the Great War Island provides the perfect escape to a green oasis in the middle of Belgrade — calm waters, wild nature and unique views of the city from the river.

Experience & impressions

The journey starts at the confluence, then moves up the calm channel toward Lido Beach. You may stop on the shore to relax and take in the surroundings.

On the return trip, the river gently carries you, with minimal paddling, past Borča’s wetlands and the island’s coastline. The views of Kalemegdan and Belgrade’s towers from the water are truly impressive.
