Hiking on Tara leads through dense coniferous forests and paths that gently open to the most famous viewpoints of the mountain.
A walk through the forest calms the rhythm, while the viewpoints open up a view of the deep Drina canyon and vast forest landscapes. The scents of pine trees, silence and a sense of space create a strong impression of being in one of the most beautiful mountains in Serbia, where each path brings a different experience of nature.
The Banjska Stena viewpoint stands out, offering one of the most beautiful views of the meanders of the Drina and the deep canyon that surrounds the mountain Tara.
Not recommended for people with injuries, health restrictions or disabilities, as well as people who have a greater fear of heights
We recommend hiking shoes with a good grip, layered clothing, a sufficient amount of water.
